Maps, Math & Motivation: A SoCal Rebelle Meetup to Remember

A Weekend of Connection in Anaheim
This past weekend, something special brewed in Anaheim—and it wasn’t just the beer.
I (Jessica) hosted a Southern California Rebelles meetup at Pfeiffer Brewing Company, gathering with six fellow Rebelles for an afternoon of support, hands-on training, and shared inspiration. It was my first time hosting a Rebelle-related event like this, and I’ll be honest—I was a little nervous putting myself out there. However, what unfolded was even better than I had imagined.
Huge thanks to Pfeiffer Brewing Company for welcoming us with open arms and giving us the space to spread out, practice plotting, and turn the brewery into a mini Rebelle HQ for the day. Their hospitality made this meetup not only possible but genuinely enjoyable.
Getting Down to the Details: Maps, Checkpoints & Enduro Math
To help everyone get some real practice in, I prepped two large maps, each with four unique checkpoint guides. That meant over 180 checkpoints were available to plot, with enough variety for everyone to challenge themselves in their own way.
I also created four enduro math sheets, designed to sharpen those crucial calculation skills for the rally. We set up tables right in the brewery, and soon there were pencils scribbling, rulers sliding, and a whole lot of focused plotting happening across the room.
Goals, Games, and Good Vibes
In true Rebelle spirit, I brought along a “Goals Board”—a simple place for each of us to write down a big or small goal we’re setting for ourselves. There’s something powerful about putting your intentions in writing, and seeing those hopes and plans side by side reminded me just how strong and driven this community is.
We also played a little game: a custom Rebelle Bingo card with actions like:
Plotting 10 checkpoints
Getting the heading of the front door
Pacing out the length of the building
Completing an enduro math sheet
Meeting someone new
Trying out a new tool
It was equal parts fun and functional, encouraging us to move, think, and connect in new ways. To keep things interesting, I put together two gift bags filled with treats for the attendees who completed the most bingo boxes by the end of the meetup—just a little extra motivation and appreciation for diving in!
Support, Marketing & the Magic of Community
One of the most meaningful parts of the day for me was our conversation around marketing. Honestly, sometimes it feels like I’m on an island, shouting out messages and wondering if anyone is hearing me. But these women? They showed up with ideas, encouragement, and wisdom that truly lit a new fire under me.
This event reminded me that I’m not alone. There are brilliant, resourceful, and generous women in this community who do things in their way, and I have so much to learn from them.
Meet the Incredible Women Who Showed Up
It was such an honor to spend the day with:
Marie @b3_rebelles
Jennifer @squirrelyjenn
Cheri @cherbear227
Nykki @nykkigee
Kimberly @kimberly_cofield
Lola @sol_seekers_201
Some came from nearby, and Lola even made the trip from Arizona—talk about dedication! It meant so much to me that the effort I put in was met with such enthusiasm and heart.
October, Here We Come
We wrapped up the day with craft beer, trail snacks (sweet, salty, and everything in between), and plenty of conversation. Rookie or veteran, everyone brought something special to the table.
As we head toward the Rebelle Rally this October, I’m feeling more ready—and more supported—than ever. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.
